All the elements of your wedding, photographed with a fresh stylishelegance. We combine photojournalisticstorytelling and classic portraiture with beautiful books and DVD montages, to turn your wedding into a lasting work of art.

Our approach

Every photographer has a different style, but if we had to generalize, we'd say there are two basic types of wedding photographers. The first is what we call the "cruise director." He or she is the experienced professional, and they know what has to happen when. They'll keep you organized and keep you moving -- hopefully in a direction you want to go in!

The second type is more of a  photojournalist -- they are there to capture whatever unfolds -- and they leave the wedding coordination up to the couple or the wedding planner. OK -- we admit it -- we're the second type -- we're there to capture the emotion, the happiness, all the little nuances of your day, not boss you around! Don't get us wrong - we'll offer advice and suggestions if you need it, but it's your day, and we're there to capture it, not orchestrate it! The only time we make any demands on you at all is during the brief  time we set aside for portraits and groups -- other than that, we'll be as unobtrusive as possible.

How our pricing works

Lots of photographers make a big deal about their pricing -- you have to sit through a sales pitch before you find out what it will all cost. Some are even offended if you use the word "price" -- they want you to think of their work as an "investment." Whatever. Here's the thing: no matter which wedding photographer you choose, you are going to end uppurchasing some services, such as photography, post-production editing, retouching, and album layout. You will also end up purchasing some products -- photo albums, prints, CDs or DVDs, and so forth.  Somephotographers group products and services into "packages" to makeselection easier for you. Some photographers have an "ala carte"menu like a restaurant, you choose just the items you want. And some don't list any prices at all, instead, they offer you a price after discussing your wedding with you.

Wepublish our prices right on our web site, and we offer a simple approach. Our price list has three columns - one for photography, one for proofs/previews, and one for presentation (DVDs and books). Simply choose at least one item from each column, and you have exactly what you need. No packages that include things that you don't want. Simple! And of course, we are always happy to work with you to create a unique combination of services and products that matches your needs perfectly. There are never any hidden costs or fees -- our pricing issimple, straightforward, and "what you see is what you get!"

Seeing our work

We offer a variety of ways to see our work. You can see sample photos, book layouts, and DVD montages right here on our website. However, keep in mind that computer monitors are not necessarily the best way to look at pictures, and there is no substitute for seeing our prints and books in person. So please, take a look at our online galleries and portfolio, but if you're at all interested in our work, don't hesitate to call us and set up a no-obligation, no-pressure meeting to see some actual books and prints. A note about . . .

Just a quick note about our engagement and wedding photography: everything you see here and in our gallery was photographed by us with real couples at their own weddings. There are no staged setups or models - just real people, real emotion, real pictures.
