An Engagement Photo Session is the perfect way to announce your commitment to each other. Our engagement sessions are fun, romantic, and creative. We start with a classic couple's picture that is perfect for submitting to a newspaper's announcement section -- mom and dad will want a framed copy too. Then we go on to create more romantic and fun images.

During winter months, we generally shoot engagement sessions in our studio or at your reception venue. The rest of the year we can shoot in the studio or outdoors, at any location. If you have a special place -- where you met, your first kiss, where he proposed -- wherever -- we can shoot there.

An engagement session is also a great way for you to get comfortable with your photographers and their working style before your big wedding day. The same photographers who shoot your wedding also shoot engagement photo sessions! 

What's Included?

Like our wedding packages, our engagement photo sessions don't have a fixed number of pictures. We shoot until we are confident that we have captured a good set of images. Sometimes we can do that in 20 minutes and 50 frames; sometimes we shoot 200 frames over a couple of hours. Our engagement packages include:

• Up to two-hour photo session in our studio, on location, or outdoors -- your choice!
• Unlimited number of frames shot (typically 50-200)
  
• online gallery of your engagement photos; you, your relatives and friends can order prints from the gallery at reasonable prices
• a Photo CD or DVD  with your "digital negatives" (high-resolution with rights to print and use as you wish)
• one 5x7 print for submission to newspaper engagement announcement section
• one 8x10 print suitable for framing

Engagement photography is included in some of our wedding packages, and is an available option in all of them. If you purchase an engagement session and you later book a wedding package with us that includes engagement photography, we'll deduct the cost of your engagement session from the wedding package!
