We know that choosing your photographer is a very personal decision, and so we're happy to meet with you in person to discuss your needs and show you printed samples of our work. You'll have an opportunity to get to know both of us and decide if our "chemistry" is right for you. We can meet at our studio, at a conveniently located Starbucks, or your home  -- whatever is easiest for you.

One question we hear a lot is -- "why are your prices lower than many other professional photographers in the Capital Region?"

The answer is simple:  We carefully limit our advertising expense. While we respect and enjoy reading many of the beautiful Capital Region and upstate NY wedding magazines, advertising in even just a few of them adds up quickly. Same with bridal shows, yellow pages ads, and newspapers. So by limiting our advertising to word-of-mouth recommendations, this website and a few other creative and inexpensive methods, we save literally thousands of dollars a month in advertising expenses -- a savings which we pass directly onto our clients in the form of lower overall costs.  

The Details

While you are deciding which optinos would be best for you, we will hold your date open for a week or so after you contact us. However, out of fairness to all our clients we book on a first come, first served basis, and a non-refundable deposit of $400 is required to formally reserve your date. The balance is due at the beginning of the wedding day. Click here to make a deposit payment.

The services and products included in your wedding will be clearly listed in your wedding contract. In order to serve our clients better, we frequently update what we offer. You always have the option of staying with the original package you ordered, or at any time before your wedding date you can upgrade to a current set of options of equal or greater value.  This lets you lock in a low price (you're booking next year's wedding at this year's prices) while at the same time, keeping the option open to take advantage of new products or packages that we might begin offering after you've already booked us.

Proofs of your wedding photos are uploaded to our internet web site within two weeks of your wedding (usually much faster). Your coffee-table books are finished a month or two after that. DVDs and CDs are usually sent within a month or so. Preparing your photos, books, and slide shows is an artistic process, and the time involved can vary dramatically from wedding to wedding -- anything from several days of postproduction work, to several weeks.
