One of our favorite assignments is providing images for websites. Nothing makes a site come alive better than some well-chosen photographs.
As Glenda described the scope of the project and her creative vision for it, we realized we were dealing with a truly three-dimensional thinker, and Upstate Photographers simply HAD to be part of this project.
The project entailed a diverse range of photography over several months — ranging from images of life in Troy in general, and at RPI in particular. Then there was a morning of photography inside the Tissue Lab, and a session at our studio to create cohesive headshots for all the participants.
Glenda challenged us to create arrestingly bright, high-key images with lots of life and movement. Then she took those images and used them in the website in beautiful and creative ways — providing an editorial voice that took our work far beyond anything we expected. Simply put, a photographers dream!
You can see how some of the images were used on the Hahn Lab website below:

Thanks Glenda, for inviting us to be part of this project!
