While much of our work is commissioned by the subjects of our photos, we also work directly for corporations and organizations. We have worked side by side with doctors on the clinic floor, flown with CEOs in their corporate jets, worked within the halls of state and local government, and prepared countless headshots and other imaging for press kits announcing corporate mergers, grand openings and facility moves, political appointments, bill signings, product launches, and staff promotions. It can be very tempting to whip out your iPhone and have someone snap your picture standing in front of an office wall. Another mistake is to try to use a photo from a family portrait studio for professional purposes. Either approach typically produces grossly inappropriate results, and can be a surprisingly expensive decision in terms of lost business credibility and missed opportunities. Typically, a headshot session can be completed in our studio in a half hour or so. Add another 45 minutes if you are planning to have an on-set makeup artist. We also can shoot on location or on your business premises. This can be especially helpful when you want to create headshots of several members of your staff or team, without requiring them to take time out of their busy day to travel to our studio. For the most time-constrained subjects, with proper preparation we can successfully complete a session in less than five minutes.

In-studio Professional Headshot Session $99*
Our business headshot sessions are quick and painless, and you can make your selections and have your images the same day**:
Makeup and hair styling is not included. For business headshots, especially for men, makeup is not always necessary. For our clients who choose to have their makeup done, we suggest an in-studio makeup artist who is familiar with the important differences between makeup for a headshot and salon-type glamour or bridal makeup. The typical cost is $75 for one application in the studio. If you want a makeup artist at your session, please let us know when you make your appointment so we can make the necessary arrangements.
On-location Business and Professional Headshots $199 for first person, $25 for each additional person

** Unretouched digital images uploaded to your gallery. Retouching, delivery on CD or USB thumb drive, and print orders require additional postproduction and shipping time.
Important Notices: Turnaround and delivery times are conservative estimates, but are only estimates unless explicitly guaranteed to you personally in writing. Actual delivery time depends on workload and other factors. All offers are limited and subject to availability.
We keep our costs extremely low by forgoing the costly overhead of an invoicing and accounts receivable system. Without exception, payment in full is due on the day of your session, before any delivery of images. We accept cash, check, PayPal, and most debit and credit cards. Prices and offers are subject to change without notice or obligation.
Upstate Photographers is a service. Therefore, once the service is rendered, there are no refunds. In the case where you are not happy with your performance in front of the camera (this means that there are no photos which are acceptable to you), in-studio reshoots are available at the discretion of Upstate Photographers for $25 per look. No other costs or services (such as hair or makeup) are included in the reshoot price.
