Megan and Evan’s wedding at Ventosa Vineyards
So we’re making the long drive to Geneva, NY for Megan and Evan’s outdoor wedding at Ventosa Vineyards, and the weather is not looking good. We drove through some massive thunderstorms.
And the weather kept us guessing right up to the wire. The venue was so sure it was going to be rainy, they didn’t even set up the chairs outdoors — until Evan arrived and logically suggested that they set them up just in case it doesn’t rain.
And there we were — literally two minutes before the wedding, it was still raining. But then, as if on cue, the very last moment — the rain stopped and the sun came out. Some people just know how to live!
The view off the terrace at the Vineyard was stunning — what a great place to have a wedding. We can’t wait to go back. Tip: If you go there (and you should!) don’t miss the Saggio — a truly excellent Bordeaux blend.
Megan and Evan, their bridal party, friends and family were wonderful to work with — it was the kind of wedding that makes you glad you’re a wedding photographer!
